The submission of site maps to Google, Yahoo and Bing has significantly improved the number of URLs and pages crawled on GoArticles. Currently, Google has indexed over 776,000 URLs of a possible total of 1.7M, Bing has indexed over 1.1M and Yahoo reports 48,000 pages crawled. We are continuing to work on improving these numbers.
Authors who are accepted for Expert Author status will receive both additional exposure for their articles in the major SE's as well as a more prominent presence in GoArticles search results. Additional benefits are in the planning stages.
